La materia y el espíritu son los conceptos que reúnen a estas cinco artistas, a través de la creación de cinco instalaciones escultóricas, que buscan transmitir las reflexiones que han venido desarrollando a lo largo de su carrera. Sus obras rescatan la idea del reciclaje y de la transformación de la materia, dándole un nuevo significado y una nueva vida. Cada uno de los elementos utilizados, adquiere un protagonismo plástico que desmitifica la sofisticación de materiales que generalmente se asocia a la “obra de arte” y habla de la valoración del trabajo experimental, producto de una sensibilidad hacia la naturaleza y al orden interno de las cosas.

The matter and the spirit are the concept that bring together these five artists through the creation of five sculptural installations that wants to pass on the reflections developed in their careers. Their pieces of work recover the idea of recycling and the transformation of matter, giving it a new meaning and a new life. Every element used acquires a plastic prominence that demystify the sophistication of materials that generally is associated with the “piece of work” and talks about the valuation of experimental work because of the sensibility towards nature and the inner order of things.
