UNIVERSOS FEMENINOS

La presente exhibición plantea un análisis del acervo artístico del Museo de Artes Visuales, proponiendo una nueva lectura, orientada a la reflexión entre arte y género. Se  enfocó la investigación en las múltiples maneras de ser mujer, bajo la mirada masculina y femenina  de las últimas décadas, con connotaciones de diferencias biológicas y culturales. El propósito final es iluminar este campo desde nuevas perspectivas a través de las posibilidades que nos entregan  las creaciones artísticas para cuestionar las estructuras establecidas.

FEMALE UNIVERSES

This exhibition lays out an analysis of the artistic heritage of the Museum of Visual Arts, proposing a new reading, pointing to the reflection between art and genre. The research focuses on the multiple ways of being a woman, under the male and female point of view from the last decades, with connotations of biological and cultural differences. The final intention is to illuminate this field from new perspectives through the possibilities that the artistic creations give us to question the established structures.
