ORÍGENES

El Museo de Artes Visuales  presenta en Teatro del Lago una exposición que presenta obras de cada una de las épocas que la colección abarca. Siendo uno de sus objetivos  principales la difusión y desarrollo del arte contemporáneo nacional, la muestra ORÍGENES  ofrece una visión de los distintos caminos recorridos por los artistas chilenos a partir de los años 60 y hasta la actualidad. Como eje central de la exposición se eligió el concepto ORIGEN como fundamento de las plataformas que han generado variados discursos plásticos durante las últimas décadas.

En este sentido las obras aquí exhibidas, dan cuenta  del  espíritu tanto de la década del 60, como los cambios experimentados en el 70, el boom de los 80 -90 y la post-modernidad del cambio de siglo.

ORIGINS

The Museum of Visual Arts presents in the “Teatro del Lago” (Theater del lago) an exhibition that presents works of each period of time that the collection includes. Being one of its main objectives the diffusion and development of the contemporary national art, the ORÍGENES / ORIGINS offers a vision of the different paths of the Chilean artists from the 60’s until today. As the central axis of the exhibition, the ORIGEN / ORIGINS concept was chosen as the basis of the platforms that have generated different plastic forms during the last decades.

In this sense, the works exhibited here reflect the spirit of the 1960s, as well as the changes experienced in the 70s, the boom of the 80s and the postmodernism in the change of century.
