l concurso se ha posicionado como un agente activo en la creación de oportunidades para nóveles creadores nacionales, siendo un reflejo de la realidad, inquietudes y tendencias de las nuevas generaciones. Así lo demuestran los más de 700 trabajos participantes en la versión 2011 del concurso, todos creados por jóvenes talentos de diferentes rincones de Chile.
Primer premio: Martin La Roche, con su obra “Pequeña muestra de Microarte”.

The contest has been an active agent in the creation of opportunities for unexperienced national creators, being a reflection of reality, concern and tendency of the new generations. This is shown in the 700 works made by the participants in the 2011 version of the contest, all created by youthful talents of different places in Chile.

Exposición de la ganadora de BECA AMA, Catalina Bauer, artista chilena cuyas esculturas, instalaciones y trabajos sobre papel-hechos con hilo blanco, pitilla de nylon, elásticos, caucho, o cabellos- se diseminan por el espacio que habitan, algunas veces colgando del techo, adosados al muro o esparcidos por el piso, y en otras ocasiones, como en sus fotografías y trabajos sobre papel, agrupándose como constelaciones de un nuevo y singular universo.

Exhibition of the winner of AMA scholarship, Catalina Bauer, Chilean artist whose sculptures, installations and works made in papers made of white threads, nylon strings, elastics, rubber or hair. They scatter through the space they live, sometimes hanging from the ceiling, attached to the wall or scattered on the floor and in some occasions they group together as constellations of a new and singular universe as in their photographs and works in paper.
