El año expositivo 2016 de MAVI ha dejado un espacio dentro de su programación con el fin de albergar al Proyecto ONE MOMENT ART en su versión número 4. La primera de ellas se llevó a cabo en la Biblioteca Nacional con el artista Basco Vazko; luego Germán Tagle expuso en el Museo de Artes Decorativas y finalmente Francisco Bustamante en Matucana 100.
El proyecto gestionado por Jose Manuel Belmar, es una plataforma que propone el uso de un espacio patrimonial reconocible como es el MAVI, dentro de un concepto de exposición pop up, fácil de montar, de contenido consistente y con artistas de indudable solidez.
Una exposición que, a diferencia de las habituales del museo, aparece y desaparece con facilidad, que permanece durante un corto espacio de tiempo entregando un contenido atractivo para el público y dinamiza y potencia la situación acostumbrada que se genera dentro de nuestro espacio.
Sin perder la calidad y las características expositivas de MAVI, ONE MOMENT ART se presenta como una estimulante instancia para el público que nos visita, con esta condición de inminencia, situación de ahora o nunca, que establece esta muestra. Dejarnos con el interés de no perderse la exposición y de ver más.
En esta ocasión los expositores, todos ellos hombres, exhiben cada uno una obra de gran formato. Nicolás Radic, Francisco Peró, Pablo Serra, Adrián Gouet, Cristóbal Anwandter y Felipe Achondo abordan el tema del otro, desde la pintura y de una perspectiva además figurativa, a la que se podría atribuir cierto carácter conservador, pero sin lugar a dudas atractivo para el público.
Mención aparte recibe el hecho de que dos de los expositores participantes, han sido finalistas de nuestro PREMIO MAVI/ MINERA ESCONDIDA ARTE JOVEN CONTEMPORÁNEO: Pablo Serra, ganador del primer premio el año 2008, y Adrián Gouet, tercer premio año 2015.

The 2016 exhibition year of MAVI has left a space within its programming in order to host the Project ONE MOMENT ART in its fourth version. The first was in the National Library with the artist Basco Vazko; Then Germán Tagle exhibited in the Museum of Decorative Arts and finally Francisco Bustamante in Matucana 100.
The project managed by Jose Manuel Belmar, is a platform that proposes the use of a recognizable patrimonial space such as MAVI, within a pop up concept, easy to set up, with consistent content and solid artists.
An exhibition that, unlike the usual ones of the museum, appears and disappears easily, which remains for a short time delivering an attractive content to the public that dynamizes and enhances the usual situation that is generated within our space.
Without losing the quality and expository characteristics of MAVI, ONE MOMENT ART presents itself as a stimulating instance for the public that visits us, with this condition of imminence, now or never, which this exhibition establishes. Leaves us with the interest of not missing the exhibition and see more of it.
On this occasion each exhibitor, all men, exhibit a large format work. Nicolás Radic, Francisco Peró, Pablo Serra, Adrián Gouet, Cristóbal Anwandter and Felipe Achondo deal with the subject of the other, from painting and from a figurative perspective, which could be attributed to a certain conservative character, but certainly attractive for the public.
A special mention is given to the fact that two of the participating exhibitors have been finalists of our MAVI / ESCONDIDA MINE YOUNG CONTEMPORARY ART PRIZE: Pablo Serra, winner of the first prize in 2008, and Adrián Gouet, third prize in 2015.
